Hendex Quality Control Laboratory

The Only Way to Accurately Measure Activated Carbon: Standardized Test Method.

The quality of activated carbon cannot be assessed by sight, color, or odor. Actual performance is proven through standardized testing methods, measurable parameters, and written analysis results.

Accreditation Process

In Activated Carbon Tests Traceable and Independent Outcome Objective.

Hendex Quality Control Laboratory is pursuing the TÜRKAK accreditation process with the aim of further strengthening its traceable and reliable analytical infrastructure in accordance with international standards. This process supports the continuous improvement of our laboratory's quality management system and ensures that analytical processes are carried out in accordance with independent evaluation criteria.

  • TURKAK Accreditation Process
  • Traceable Analysis Processes
  • Strong Quality Management
  • Compliance with International Standards

Independent Analysis Approach

The activated carbon you purchased How Good Is It Really?

The true performance of activated carbon is revealed through accurate analysis, technical interpretation, and reliable reporting. Hendex Quality Control Laboratory, with its infrastructure conforming to international standards, comprehensively evaluates the physical, chemical, and adsorption performance of activated carbon.

  • Independent analysis service for manufacturers, distributors and industrial users.
  • Supplier sample, current stock and alternative product comparisons.
  • Measurable and comparable results using standard test methods.
  • Traceable quality system and ongoing TÜRKAK accreditation process.

Analysis Process and Reporting

From Sample to Report A Followable Flow.

Standardized Analysis Process from Sample to Technical Report: Every analysis request is conducted within a traceable and systematic process that complies with international standards. All stages, from sample acceptance at the laboratory to the performance of analyses, technical evaluation of results, and reporting, are managed according to standard procedures. Thus, the data obtained are not only accurately measured but also transformed into reliable and comparable technical outputs.

01 Request and Technical Assessment An appropriate analysis plan is created by evaluating the purpose of the analysis, sample type, scope of the test, and reporting expectations.
02 Sample Acceptance and Registration Samples are entered into the laboratory record system, identified, and prepared for the analysis process in accordance with traceability principles.
03 Conducting the Tests The specified tests are performed under controlled laboratory conditions using methods that comply with ASTM and relevant international standards.
04 Technical Evaluation and Verification The collected analysis data is evaluated by our expert team, and the accuracy and consistency of the results are checked and technically verified.
05 Submission of the Analysis Report The analysis results, measurement data, and technical evaluations are prepared and presented to the client in a comprehensive report.

Test Parameters

Activated carbon performance is not determined by a single test., It is evaluated through holistic analysis.

The true performance of activated carbon is revealed by evaluating different test parameters together. While each analysis measures a specific property of the product, when all results are combined, they provide reliable technical data on its suitability for application and performance.

01

BET Surface Area

It determines the total surface area and adsorption potential.

02

Iodine Number

It evaluates the microporous structure and adsorption capacity.

03

Methylene Blue

It demonstrates mesopore performance and large molecule adsorption.

04

Bulk Density

It determines the filling density and volumetric behavior.

05

Butane Activity

It evaluates the performance in gas-phase filtration applications.

06

Hardness Test

It evaluates mechanical strength and wear resistance.

07

Ash and Moisture Determination

It determines product purity and storage stability.

08

pH

It evaluates the surface characterization in turn.
